Exhibition “Front Lines – World War I (1914–1918)”

On 9 November, an exhibition titled “Front Lines – World War I (1914–1918)” was opened at the NBS Exhibition Hall in Slavija Square.  The project “Front Lines – World War I (1914–1918)”, consisting of a series of anthologies of short comic stories on the theme of the Great War, is a result of cooperation between the publishing house “System Comics” and the French Institute in Belgrade. The anthologies were created by the most renowned names of the French and Serbian comic books and the most famous authors from other Balkan countries.

The exhibition was staged on the occasion of the centenary of the end of World War I and the Armistice Day. The great retrospective showed the most representative stories from the seven anthologies published thus far. The project was implemented with the support of the Serbian Ministry of Culture and the French Mission Centenaire.

The exhibition was open to the public until 27 November 2018.
