Exhibition "Eyes of a Stone"

In the exhibition hall of the National Bank of Serbia, in Nemanjina 17, on 8 February, an exhibition of photographs by Aleksandar Radoš entitled “Eyes of a Stone” was opened.

The exhibition presents a series of photographs in which the author examines the suggestive strength of stone eyes in the monuments of Serbian sculptors. By emphasising these segments of sculptor’s work, the author introduces the observers into their micro-plan. In it, he tries to couple two thoughts, the thought of eyes being the mirror of the soul with the idea of the stone’s soul, i.e. its form, texture and colour.

Aleksandar Radoš was born in Belgrade. So far, he has organized more than thirty solo exhibitions in the country and abroad. He has received numerous awards and recognitions, among which particularly two annual awards of the Association ULUPDS stand out.

The exhibition was opened for the public until 22 February 2019.
