Exhibition on Breast Cancer Prevention - "Pink Ribbon Serbia"

Exhibition on the prevention of breast cancer, organised by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), was officially opened on 27 February in the exhibition hall of the NBS Slavija building. The exhibition presented the most successful works, posters and slogans, which were created and sent to the prize contest “Pink Ribbon Serbia” by two categories of contestants: students of the final grades of elementary schools and high school students and adults.

The contest is an integral part of the “Project for Improvement of the National Programme for Early Detection of Breast Cancer” aimed at raising awareness of the importance of preventive action in the fight against this disease. This project is implemented by JICA in cooperation with the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Serbia and the Institute of Public Health “Dr Milan Jovanović Batut”.

The exhibition was opened by representatives of the Embassy of Japan, the JICA office and the Institute of Public Health “Dr Milan Jovanović Batut”.

The exhibition was open to the public until 13 March 2019.
