The standing exhibition, 12 Kralja Petra Street

The standing exhibition “Money in the Territory of Serbia – from its first appearance until today” and accompanying themed exhibitions are open to the public at the National Bank of Serbia’s building

The exhibitions are open to visitors on working days from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. which is the same time that educational activities take place.

Groups and schools are requested to book their visits in advance. The exhibition presentations and lectures are tailored to the age, profile and special requirements of the visitors. Group visits include 15–30 visitors and last up to 60 minutes per group. The request for a visit should be submitted by an authorised person at: +381 11 302 71 28 and +381 11 302 73 64, in writing at: izlozba@nbs.rs. The date and time of the visit are confirmed after an authorised person submits the list of visitors and the confirmation that group members are familiar and will comply with the Code of Conduct in the NBS Visitor Centre.

Guided tours are organised in Serbian and English.

All activities on setting up the exhibition are done on weekdays from 8 am to 4 pm.

Entrance, guided tours, lectures, educational programmes and interactive contents are free of charge!

The Bank’s building at 17 Nemanjina Street hosts temporary exhibitions and social and cultural events on working days from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.

Access to persons with disabilities is enabled.

When can citizens visit the exhibitions of the National Bank of Serbia?

In the National Bank building at Kralja Petra Street 12, citizens can view the exhibition every working day from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., when educational activities for the public are also held. In the building of the National Bank at Nemanjina 17, citizens can view the exhibition every working day from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., unless otherwise specified for a particular event. In that case, the working hours are highlighted on the website of the National Bank, www.nbs.rs.

Is there a museum shop within the Visitor Center?

Not for now.

Is there an entrance fee to the exhibition spaces of the National Bank at Kralja Petra 12 and Nemanjina 17?

No. Admission, expert guidance, lectures, educational programs and interactive content of the National Bank Visitor Center are free.

Is there a professional guide when visiting the exhibition displays?

For individual visits, professional guidance is not provided, while for group visits, professional guidance is provided, tailored to the age, profile and requirements of visitors. Professional guidance can be in Serbian or English.

Does the visit have to be scheduled?

Are the National Bank's exhibition and educational printed materials for sale?

Exhibition promotional material is not for sale and is distributed to visitors according to existing stocks. Educational material distributed in printed form during group school visits (depending on existing stocks) or found on the Visitor Center website is free of charge.
