Exhibition of paintings “Parallel Worlds”
An exhibition of paintings themed “Parallel Worlds” will be opened at 7 pm on Monday, 16 September 2024, at the National Bank of Serbia’s exhibition hall at Slavija, Nemanjina 17.
At the invitation of the art historian Mirjana Savić, 16 artists of different generations will present their works at the exhibition: Nenad Stanković, Leposava Milošević Sibinović, Milica Kojčić, Novak Demonjić Ozrenski, Jelena Đurić, Milica Zečević, Skarlet Baptista, Slobodanka Rakić Šefer, Vladimir Đurić, Ljubomir Lacković, Jelisaveta Zečević, Mihajlo Vojnović, Dragan Kuprešanin, Boris Zečević and Marija Miladinović.
“The exhibition has gathered a group of artists who create their stories and transpose them into paintings, drawings, sculptures, icons and mosaics. Each of them tells his own tale. The tales are diverse and original, simultaneously young and universal. They talk about parallel worlds of artists, existing independently of each other. These are creative personalities who imbue their artistic creations with sensibility, emotion, colour and love for art,” said Mirjana Savić, art historian and exhibition author.
The exhibition is part of the European Heritage Days and will be opened by Professor Dragoljub Kojčić.
It will be open until 30 September and the opening hours of the exhibition hall are between 10 am and 6 pm Monday to Friday.
