The exhibition Masterpieces of Serbian collectors 1950–1990 will be opened at 7 pm on Wednesday, 16 October, at the exhibition hall of the National Bank of Serbia at Slavija, Nemanjina 17.

Protić, Mileta Andrejević, Raša Todosijević, Slobodan Era Milivojević, Neša Paripović, Radomir Damnjanović Damnjan, and others.
“The art exhibition at the National Bank of Serbia’s gallery offers an opportunity to visitors to learn about some of the seminal artwork created between 1950 and 1990. It is important not only because of the quality of the artwork, but also the fact that many of the works have never been presented in public, thus offering the expert and broader public a new insight into the artistic heritage, the richness and diversity of the artistic expression in this period. The works have been kept in private collections and are rare pearls of Serbian art. Besides pointing out the contribution of private collectors to the preservation of Serbian cultural heritage and promotion of its cultural identity, the exhibition also underlines the necessity of systemic care to preserve, protect and promote a country’s cultural heritage,” said exhibition author, the architect and art historian Slobodan Maldini.
The exhibition will be opened by art historian and Professor Jerko Ješa Denegri.
The NBS gallery is open from 10 am until 6 pm Monday through Friday. The entrance is free-of-charge.
The exhibition Masterpieces of Serbian collectors 1950–1990 will be open to the public until 31 October.
