NBS marks the European Heritage Days
During the European Heritage Days 2023, inspired by the theme of “Living Heritage”, the NBS will present to the public the exhibition of art historian Marko Stojanović “Architecture of Banks and Savings Banks in Belgrade 1918–1941”.
The exhibition, prepared in cooperation with the publishing house “Hera Edu”, is an integral part of a bigger project about Belgrade bank architecture between two wars. The project also included the promotion of the monograph of Marko Stanojević “Bank Architecture – Buildings of Monetary Institutes in Belgrade 1918–1941”, which took place on 31 August.
The exhibition was opened by NBS Governor Jorgovanka Tabaković, who also made a speech at the book promotion event.
You can see the exhibition and a projection of a documentary in the exhibition space of the NBS Slavija building, 17 Nemanjina Street, until 29 September on working days between 10 and 18 o’clock.
Entrance is free. No prior announcement is needed for individual visits, while group visits (maximum 20 visitors) need to be appointed a day or two earlier by sending an e-mail to the following address: izlozba@nbs.rs.
